Tucked deep in the Parvati Valley, Kasol is a trekker's paradise. Riverside cafes where time slows down, mountain trails that lead to places you've only seen in wallpapers. The kind of place that whispers "stay a little longer."

Tungnath-Chandrashila

"The Summit"

This was it. The reason for the entire trip. Tungnath — the highest Shiva temple in the world, sitting at 3,680 meters, surrounded by nothing but sky and mountains. The trek up was challenging but every step felt worth it when the temple emerged from the mist. And then came Chandrashila. The final push to the peak at 4,000 meters. Standing at the top, with the entire Himalayan range stretched out in front of me — Nanda Devi, Trisul, Kedar, Chaukhamba — it was the kind of moment you carry with you forever. The wind was freezing, the view was infinite, and for a few minutes, nothing else mattered. This wasn't just a trek. It was a reminder that the best things are on the other side of effort.
